Cats vs. Christians
We have been concerned that in today's world, not many take the time to understand the Bible. I opened the door to let the cat out. He seemed to want to go, but hesitated.
Since it was a cold, frosty morning, I held the door open longer than usual. He wasn't sure. I waited . . . but he still wasn't sure. I gave up. |
There are some Christians who are not sure. We have decided NOT to give up . . . just yet.
As we all know, the world is a large, complicated place in which to try to live. We need to be strong, wearing the "armor of God" as we venture out the door. Let's call this the "6:10 Fortifier" (found in Ephesians).
As Christians we have the helmet, the breastplate, the sword, the shield, even the shoes, but is the belt slipping a notch or two? Sometimes truth is hard to come by. Perhaps we rely on others for the truth, instead of finding what we need to know on our own.
