St. Luke - session 1
I do believe that the best advice from a teacher is to ask that you read Luke ... the last three chapters: 22, 23, 24. As you absorb the depth of understanding of the "hard to believe" SACRIFICE of Jesus, the Spirit of God in Christ fills your spirit with the wonder of it all! It will be your reading of St. Paul's and St. Peter's letters that will eventually give you some of the insight that is needed to fully comprehend it all.
One of the most poignant experiences of those who were in the presence of the Resurrected Christ can be found in Luke 24:13-35. No commentary can paint a better picture! May God BLESS your reading of the words the "beloved disciple".
